The Role: A Coffee Ambassador, Not Just a Barista We are looking for someone who has not only mastered the art of coffee making but who also possesses a genuine passion for sharing it with others. We want a barista who will be the smiling face of our café, an ambassador for our brand, and someone who can tell the story of every cup—from the origin of the bean to the perfect brewing method that highlights its best flavours. If you believe your role goes beyond preparing drinks to building community relationships and spreading the culture of specialty coffee, then you are the person we are looking for. Key Roles & Responsibilities: * Prepare and serve all types of specialty coffee beverages (espresso, milk-based drinks, filter coffee) with high quality and precision. * Warmly welcome customers and provide an exceptional hospitality experience that makes them feel at home. * Share your knowledge and passion for coffee with customers, explaining different bean varieties, growing regions, roast profiles, and brewing methods. * Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the workspace and equipment to the highest standards. * Master the use of the espresso machine and calibrate it regularly to ensure the best extraction. * Contribute to creating a positive and community-focused atmosphere within the café. Qualifications & Requirements: * Previous experience as a barista in a specialty coffee shop (essential requirement). * A true and deep passion for specialty coffee and a continuous desire to learn and develop. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to build friendly relationships with customers. * A positive, collaborative personality and the ability to work well within a team. * Latte art skill is a fantastic bonus. * Attention to detail and precision in your work.
